A Psychotherapy Practice
Our Beginnings

In 1992, Robert Seyler, D.Min, LICSW and Leigh Bryant, LICSW joined their solo practices to form Counseling Associates of Dracut and Methuen. Becoming partners and dear friends, they recognized the need for more comprehensive services in the community hence slowly added more staff.  After Dr. Seyler's retirement at the end of 2015, Leigh opened a third office with more therapists in Bedford NH.  In April 2018, the name changed to Counseling Associates of MA & NH to reflect the expanded practice.
Our new logo, the birch tree, is not only the state tree of NH yet also a symbol of new beginnings, adaptability, regeneration, hope and the promise of what is to come.

Leigh Bryant, LICSW, founder, has worked over 30 years with clients around issues of anxiety, trauma and challenges with life transitions (such as divorce, childbirth, death of a loved one). A major clinical focus of hers is on maternal wellness. She is also a Level II EMDR practitioner. A co-founder of the practice in 1992, much of her time is now spent as an administrator of entire practice. She does see clients in her home, located near the Bedford NH office.  In her free time, she loves hanging out with family and friends along with her wide array of animals which include 2 ponies from the Personal Pony program.  She can often be seen around the offices with her smallest member, Gus, a 9 1/2 pound pup.
